Lifeguard Training
Course Description: Participants must be at
least 15 Years Old, able to Swim 300 Yards (12 lengths of a 25 yard pool)
without stopping (front crawl and breaststroke), and retrieve a 10-lb brick

Lifeguard Certificates Issued: Upon successful Lifeguard training course
completion participants will receive American Red Cross certifications in
Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/AED for Lifeguards valid for 2 years.

Lifeguard Challenge Description: Lifeguard Training Challenge/Recertification is a TEST ONLY format - Lifeguard challenge option for previously certified lifeguards who are confident with their Lifeguarding, CPR, AED and First Aid knowledge and skills. During the lifeguard challenge there is NO REVIEW of the Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR or AED skills. We recommend that you study the LIFEGUARD MANUAL before you challenge.
Lifeguard Certificates Issued: Upon successful Lifeguard training challenge completion participants will receive American Red Cross certifications in Lifeguard Training, First Aid and CPR/AED for Lifeguards valid for 2 years.

CPR/AED for Lifeguards Re-Certification Classes for 2012
Course Description: TEST ONLY re-certification challenge option for previously certified
individuals who are confident with their CPR/AED knowledge and skills and
who want to be tested. During the course of the challenge there is NO REVIEW
of skills. We recommend that you study the LIFEGUARD MANUAL before you challenge.
Certificates Issued: Upon successful completion of the challenge (100%
practical skills 80% written tests) the individuals CPR/AED for Lifeguards
certification will be renewed for 2 years.

What to Bring for the Challenge
Bathing suit and towel (one piece swim suit for females), a pen or pencil and
CPR pocket mask, or participants may purchase a mask at the class for $15.
Program Policies
NO REFUNDS will be issued once course fees have been submitted.
If a participant is absent from any scheduled class days or times, the
participant will not be offered a transfer or refund of any kind. NO REFUNDS
ARE GIVEN AT ALL!
